Dobil Laboratories Embarks on Exciting New Chapter with Restructured Leadership Team

Dobil Laboratories, a Pittsburgh-based systems integration company and event technology leader, with over 50 years of industry experience, announced a significant restructuring of its leadership team, ushering in a new era of innovation and growth. Founder Don Rosenberger, who has been at the helm for the company’s entire history, will be taking a well-deserved step back to a reduced role after 53 years of visionary leadership. Don will continue prioritizing the client relationships he’s built throughout the years.

Over the past year or so, David Rosenberger, Conor McCaskey, and Tom Mclaughlin have helped lead day-to-day operations, positioning the company for an exciting future. David Rosenberger, assuming the role of President, has confidence in the team’s readiness for the challenges ahead noting, “The future holds exciting challenges that we are ready for. The work accomplished in the last 18 months has prepared us for anything that may come our way.”

With Dobil’s new leadership approach, an anticipated 20% year-over-year growth in 2024 is attainable. “Our goal is to assist as many companies, institutions, and venues as possible in simplifying and making AV solutions reliable.” David emphasizes prioritizing the company’s people, culture, and stability as central to his role as President.

Tom Mclaughlin, taking on the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), reflects on the company’s recent growth and identifies the need for scalability: “As the company more than doubled in revenue in the past years, covid, supply chain, and other factors made me realize we weren’t scalable on a business level.” Tom emphasizes the importance of addressing administrative challenges and modernizing processes to support future growth opportunities. Tom echoes David’s thoughts about taking on any challenges that the industry and economy may throw their way in the years to come and the need to be prepared.

Conor McCaskey, assuming the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), discusses the positive shifts within the company’s culture: “All the staff has shifted to considering: ‘is this strategic, vs. will this make the problem go away.’ The company culture is great, but now we can give our team data as to how they are doing as an employee.” Conor acknowledges the team’s commitment to maintaining a creative, light-hearted atmosphere while delivering exceptional results for customers.

The three newly titled leaders would also like to express their thanks to Don Rosenberger for entrusting them to carry forward the direction he initiated.
